Diplo, DJ Khaled, Martin Garrix, and Future are among the musicians who have purchased NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection via MoonPay’s ‘concierge service.’

Last week, the four musicians updated their Twitter and Instagram profiles to show off their new purchases.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club is a collection of 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs, which are one-of-a-kind digital collectibles that exist on the Ethereum blockchain.

MoonPay Concierge is a new service for high-net-worth individuals who wish to buy crypto and high-value NFTs without fuss.

MoonPay covertly started a ‘concierge’ service last week, according to The Block.

Early customers included artists Lil’ Baby and Post Malone, as well as talk show presenter Jimmy Fallon, who was interested in purchasing digital collectibles and cryptocurrencies.

Producer Diplo tweeted a wrapped image from Spotify showcasing the item yesterday, along with updating his profile photo to Bored Ape #5384.

Future posted #4672 with the caption “gm” on November 28.

The deal’s nature has sparked concern on crypto Twitter, with many doubting the musicians’ ties with MoonPay. Ivan Soto-Wright, the company’s CEO and co-founder, has stated that he first met Fallon at NFT.NYC, and that it was during this encounter that the host decided to include the payments company on his show.

All of the products from the Bored Ape Yacht Club can be returned to MoonPay through their OpenSea account. MoonPay acquired each piece and afterward transferred it to another location, according to the account page.

Only Diplo has an OpenSea address, but a source close to the case revealed that the other titles belonged to other stars and that MoonPay was used to make the payments.

The addition of four more celebrities to MoonPay’s customer list shows that the service is gaining traction following the company’s first round of funding, which raised $555 million and was spearheaded by Tiger Global and Coatue.
